honestly it wasn’t as depressing or sad as i thought it was gonna be? i just spent most of the time asking her questions i’ve been wanting to ask my whole life (how she met my grandpa, what was traveling the world like, etc) and it seemed like she was genuinely enjoying herself 🥹

got to see my grandmother yesterday and spend a few hours with her and i’m really really glad i made the trip. she probably only has a few weeks left but im extremely grateful she was lucid enough to carry on with me and my sister and my bf for as long as she did
