Go & view it, feed the imagination. Good shout in the heat thing! In one at present, but has good AC which solves the heat thing but at a cost. Worth it for the view. Only a fifth floor penthouse, but on a hill so got the views front & back, citadella & distant sea, over fields .

Built on stone on history on people's efforts & an ethical maze to traverse. Built on corruption, promises of those standing in a muddy field pointing at a dog eared set of plans. The history of corruption is delivering the bare minimum whilst skimming off as much as you can. Tripe pie, no filing.

Gozo the slow pace of village life. All the fields are turning green & flowers bursting in every scene. This time of year is so warm & scented. Walking reveals a timeless charm of stone & centuries around every corner. Each village square & crossroads barely changed by each empire's hand & fist.

Gharb crossroads & fountain in warm sandstone under the blue autumn sky and hot sun.
It began to grow in the middle ages, nearby temple ruins are 5800 years old so farmers were here already.
It's modern parish roots grew from this fountain around 1679

It is perfection & Jackson Lamb gives me hope in humanity. I binged the whole series last year. Awaiting this series to fully drop. I cannot do 'wait' when it's a cliff hanger episode. Reading all the Slough House books in the meantime. That's the power of a proper adaptation I feel.
