Don't hesitate to skip the first season. And even then, the show really doesn't come into its own until late in the second season. But it is a great show otherwise.

As Thoughtful Skeleton said, RFK for one. But this is also how the food industry operates; when so much food is processed, it becomes easy to mold the food into what they think will sell. This happened in the 1990s with no/low-fat and in the 2010s with gluten-free (to attract non-Celiac consumers).

Formative game for me that I think granted me my sense of humor. Also, I think the barter system in worlds 2 and 3 plus all the secrets were just incredible. I wish other games ran those sorts of barter systems in lieu of a "normal" shop system.

I dropped Edge of Eternity too. Legitimately one of the few games that has made me feel NOTHING, which is worse than me feeling negative feelings about it. To me, that means they essentially took no risks and tried nothing as game developers and made just a boring game.

I think it's one of the slowest-paced games, if not the slowest-paced game to ever come from a big AAA dev and that's part of what makes it so special. It's cinematic in a way completely unlike, say, the Sony formula, where many popular films have a similar pacing and story beats.
