I ran for School Board because I believed our kids deserved better. Two years into our new governance model and we can already see results. Graduation rate is up by 10%. Music and arts funding is up by 22.5%. We've expanded access to the trades. Civics scores are up. And more!

How awesome is it that SPPS playgrounds are open to everyone outside of school hours? Our schools benefit the whole community -- even if you don't have a kid enrolled. Public schools are the absolute best!

I think it's all of the above, but I'm not on the policy committee and am waiting for them to draft language. FWIW, our board is mostly skeptical of AI as a whole. And it's not the kind of board to seek out or be uncritical of corporate talking points.
