#WordOfTheDay - urchin is hedgehog in Cumbrian dialects in a creation myth, the entire world was just a big lake, and it was a giant hedgehog who brought earth in it's needles, thus creating dry land #hedgehogs #folklore #Cumbria

wonderful to have hosted Loyle Carner for his latest album "hopefully!" much of which was recorded here in Studio A and Studio C. Also number 2 in the album charts this week - not bad at all 😎

Are you even in a garage punk band if you don't knock over the microphone during the concert finale and the sound tech has to drop to their knees on stage so you can sing the last verse? Our concert in London @urchinstudios.bsky.social in October. 10/10 experience we will fuck up again. #musiciansky

Also yes I am a bit like Dr Who in that I've been killed off and regenerated a couple of times 👀

This one was a fun one to work on with Jason from Spiritualized! Original recording was made In 2015, at the Barbican Gallery featuring a live performance from Jason and John against the backdrop of William Eggleston’s film “Stranded in Canton” tidal.com/track/374005...
