The season isn’t finished yet, but so far I highly recommend Lanterns. The cast is great, the story is interesting, and it’s accessible to non-comic people. I am saying this as someone who has never read a Green Lantern comic and knows very little about the character: it’s good! go watch it!

I do wonder if people feel that way because fandom has grown rapidly as it has become more mainstream and social media can make it so very easy to dogpile on someone in truly hideous ways. But I have been in fan spaces since the 90s and unfortunately, there have always been assholes.
