On the train - on an ACTUAL train, not a replacement bus, from Melbourne to Bendigo. It was touch and go for a bit because the train was nearly 30 minutes late. Air quality isn't great, but much better than the bus (coach) down.

Heading to Melbourne for the days of union training. Was excited to get in an actual train rather than a replacement bus, but no. Train taken out of service. A full bus it is. Only ten minutes in and already 4290ppm CO2 *sigh*.

Feeling this anger very deeply right now. Mum was rushed to hospital in Oxford about 24 hours ago. She has pulmonary edema and her heart is under stress. She's been coughing her guts up for YEARS post-Covid. The 🏥 was shocked her GP let it get so bad. I'm furious and scared. She's signed a DNR.

I showed my pride this ACE Week with clothes, brooches and mask covers in the colours of the Asexual flag. It's not the most inspiring colour combination, in fact it's a bit 'meh', but while fifty shades of grey does nothing for me, I can definitely get into fifty shades of purple!

Spent a satisfying few hours at Bendigo Foodshare's spring bookfair/fund-raiser this arvo, and came home with a carry-on size bagful of second-hand books. Today's mask and brooch combo was the Erstwilder x Children's Book Council of Australia's puffin brooch and FloMask with a cotton puffin cover

Big day today meeting new senior manager. Decided to show some support for my Aboriginal colleagues with an Aboriginal print mask cover and a Melanie Hava (North Queensland Aboriginal artist) x Erstwilder brooch. This is a heavier cotton so a bit more condensation build up but breathing still easy.

I'm having fun with the mask covers I'm making and matching them with my outfits. This is another Jocelyn Proust print that I paired with a turquoise sweater and Erstwilder x Proust brooch. The cover is attached to the front of the frame with mask tape so I can peel it back to SIP then re-stick!

Here's how to use the pin function. The feed will appear as a new tab at the top of your screen, making it easy to switch back and forth between your feed or feed and your pins.

If you find a post you want to return to, you can stick a pin in it by replying with the red pin emoji (the one that is on an angle, not straight). Then use at symbol jay a zed dot b sky dot social's red pin feed which keeps track of your red pins.

I lost my favourite asexual pride pin recently, so went onto Etsy to buy a replacement. I ended up buying a few extra things, inc. this gorgeous enamel Ally Pride Pin from distinctlyyou.etsy.com which arrived today. I've pinned it to my cross body wallet where anyone who needs to see it, will.
