Good on you. Tough to share this stuff. I come from two alcoholic parents and got that dog in me. Only in the last year or two have I really all but given it up. Not having it at home does much of the heavy lifting. Pretty much only drink in airports now lol.

So true. Every new area in a fromsoftware game has me so excited to explore it (and die a bunch) from the reveal. Something about the way they drop the text on the first big vista as you enter.

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I loved it. Remedy always cooks with these areas where the music kicks in.

Help, Dylan got stuck in an Ikea after hours and can't find his way out. #ControlResonant

Never been much of a "summons" guy but I am enjoying this build in Control Resonant that uses them. So many executions in a row because of my summon putting in work.

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

So this isnt a fuckboy dylan mod but something earnable in game?! Guess I gotta hit the arcades.

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Damn, I had no idea after hundreds of hours. Might be time for a revisit

There's rare weapons?? Like outside the weapons that are guaranteed in various spots?

I am enjoying messing with the Witcher 3 Remastered but its definitely still rough around the edges🤣. Had to reload my save to get out of this believe it or not.

Samus really does need a break. Shes so underappreciated.

Time for an upgrade anyway. I think 5090 laptops are going for 6-7000$ right now. Sell a couple dozen apple shares.

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Thats fair. I havent read them all, just Last Wish. I bet I'll grow to love Yennifer more after I do

110

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I grew attached to Triss as a character and love interest for Geralt through Witcher 1 and 2 where Yennifer was absent. When she popped up in 3 she was but a fleeting distraction compared to Triss.

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

That seems like it looks and works decent enough for now! Hopefully they patch it further

110

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I thought it was just me. Looked terrible until I turned off RT and path tracing all together. Now it looks good, but feels like its not a huge leap over the enhanced edition or whatever that was already out

Upperthighs @upperthighs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

With the recent release of The Witcher 3 - Remastered, I just wanted to remind everyone that Triss >>>>> Yennifer. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sounds like a fun way to spend the day! Play any good toons? Perhaps the song of time or song of storms?

For me bg2 is better than bg3 just held back by technology because of its age!

More Control Resonant tonight. Starting to really get into it. As usual Remedy games are oozing in style, plus tons of environmental storytelling (my fav). Incredible side quests too.

Choosing just 9 is impossible I agree. I could try but would feel guilty leaving so many off

Gotta try this on my handheld this weekend. Got to level 7ish which is already enough to know I'll be addicted 🥹

Yup. Gotta keep that child of bhaal alive! I was usually a sorcerer hiding in the back lines anyway. Thankfully pausing and popping potions is doable.
