More Control Resonant tonight. Starting to really get into it. As usual Remedy games are oozing in style, plus tons of environmental storytelling (my fav). Incredible side quests too.

Put some time into Control Resonant tonight. So far its that classic Remedy aesthetic which I love - and I'm digging the combat and their take on an open world. I do wish the combat was more akin to parry slop (probably an unpop opinion but whatever). Cant wait to play more!

Silent Hill f was released one year ago today. One of the best horror games I’ve ever played. Amazing story, fantastic voice acting and the sound design is something special. A top tier gaming experience.

Finished Onimusha: Way of the Sword tonight. Incredible game. Thoughts are included. I knew I'd like this but it really surpassed my expectations. I need Fromsoft to steal this combat. Cant believe we got MS 2, Dawnwalker, and Onimusha back to back to back. Insane lineup.

The many faces of Musashi in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Absolutely love this guy as a protagonist - and Capcom cooked with all the cut scenes and animation. I'm glued to the screen every time there's any story beat happening, which is usually before & after their best in class boss fights.

Credits roll on The Blood of Dawnwalker. Really loved this game. Expectations were in check but I was pleasantly surprised. Super happy with my ending, and hopeful for the future of the franchise. Coen is already one of the better new protagonists in a long time in my opinion. Play this one!

We went book shopping yesterday, its almost comical how the sci fi/fantasy section has been flooded with books with romantasy flower/sword/serpentine cover art or titles that follow the "a noun of noun and noun" format. Good ol publishers. Had to be like a dozen or more like this.

Got the "plat" on Mortal Shell 2 after about 55 hours. Easily one of the best souslikes for me, especially after todays patch fixed many of the community gripes. Very rare for me to want to 100% a game but I find myself still wanting more.

Mortal Shell 2 done. Most fun I've had exploring a souls-like world since Elden Ring. Still on the fence if I want to get the 100% but I loved this one. Can't wait for their third offering which I expect to be essentially perfect at this rate.
