Huge thank you to MN Attorney General @agellison.bsky.social for signing on to this letter. Pharmacy Benefit Managers owning pharmacies and setting reimbursement rates for themselves and their direct competitors is a glaring conflict of interest and should certainly be addressed by congress.

Specialty steering is a one-two punch of price-gouging and self-dealing in which pharmacy benefit managers mark-up the price of generic medicines and then steer the reimbursement towards affiliated pharmacies. It raises premiums for everybody. youtube.com/shorts/18jjf...
