It's John Sayles' birthday. Unfortunately no blu-ray announcements this year so more than half of his directorial output still languishes on DVD. Allegedly Criterion are working on BROTHER FROM ANOTHER PLANET and I did manage to track down the EIGHT MEN OUT soundtrack over the last 12 months.

Intrada just released an expanded 2-CD release of the SPY KIDS soundtrack. You'd think having seven different composers working separately would not work at all, but it all coheres into a ridiculously fun score. store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id...

After nearly thirty years of searching, I have finally acquired a copy of the MEET THE FEEBLES soundtrack. Now I can dedicate my time to mildly dreading what he's doing with the 4K transfers of these films.
