I was convinced it was rigged when, in the run up to the election, Trump said, "Don't bother to vote for me. I don't need your vote. We got this." The only way it makes sense for him to say that is if it was rigged. The polls shouldn't have given that level of confidence.

@davidwondrich.bsky.social In Punch, 4th pillar, you suggest 1 sour to 1 sweet - what does that mean exactly? Do you measure both by volume - like 1 fl oz lemon juice to 1 fl oz of granulated sugar or is it 1 fl oz juice : 1 oz (weight) of sugar? Or are those the same? (asking for a European)

A year ago we hired a contrator to build us a new deck because the old one was rotten. Rather than replace the rotten frame, they just patched it. It was like walking on a sponge. It's taken me a month, but I just finished replacing the crappy rotten "frame" with a nice solid new one.

TECHNIQUE: PEELING A KIWI To peel a kiwi fruit cut a slice off each end the run a teaspoon around up under the skin from each end in turn. The skin should then slip right off.
