Haven't worked on my website in a hot minute. Thinking of starting over from scratch. I might use the REACT framework.

Unkofire (no longer posting art here) @unkofire.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Not sure if i should post art here again tbh. I am very suspicious of bluesky in general. Doesnt help that the people behind bluesky used to own Twitter before musk, which was already going to shit before he even bought it.

The government is asking for public comments on whether banks should be able to deny you from buying legal goods at their own whim (i.e. how they're cracking down on art) Tell them you don't want to be told how to spend your money www.federalreserve.gov/apps/proposa...

Dress them up, feed them, maybe have a playground where they interact with each other? Form bonds with them...those things would make the game better. I dont like how you can only hurt your pals wtf. Carry them and run around lol Maybe pals can be friends or rivals towards other people's pals?

I admittedly don't use bluesky much anymore, so im going to be reblogging this fundraiser for a while. Apologizes in advance, but this is for a friend I care about, and I want it to get more traction.

I'm all for you doing your best but at some point you do have to realize that people are allowed to judge you for choosing to tolerate using X. Does it have more traffic? yes. Is that worth being in that ecosystem, your call. Do you 'need' X or any other social media? no one does you silly addict.

It's that giving time of year again, so this is a reminder that no matter how they try to dress it up, the Salvation Army is not a charity.

The Salvation Army is not a charity. They are an evangelical church that uses donated money to actively oppress gay rights. They've been especially cruel to trans people.

Since bluesky enshittified, I am limiting my activity, because yes I am that mad, but not surprised tbh (its also for mental health because social media can be draining tbh). If you are interested in seeing my stuff elsewhere, I finally made a carrd: unkofire.carrd.co

MY ART LOOKS LIKE SHIT!! But idc cause I LOVE DRAWING!! When you draw like shit, there are no expectations to be perfect. My art looks like shit but I love it that way, because I love the act of drawing. Art is meant to show imperfections because its human. Anyway sorry for the rant lol

Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have. Python foundation said no and rejected the grant. If you use Python, send a few dollars to the charity to keep it going. I’m pushing a dono on behalf of ScamGuard.

Im actually currently making a website, just need to redo a few things and then figure out how to get the income to run it.

Unkofire (no longer posting art here) @unkofire.bsky.social · 27/10/2025

I agree. I honestly recommend making a website. There are plenty of templates out there, and you dont have to rely on some stupid social media ceo to not go full haywire and destroy another platform I would use neocities or something similar (not square space or word press because they suck ass).

Unkofire (no longer posting art here) @unkofire.bsky.social · 26/10/2025

Plus the enshittification of bluesky makes me so salty that im just going to make a website at this point.

Some transgender people see only darkness in front and behind them. The current climate is especially accelerating this. Transgender people just want to love the people they love and live their lives as themselves. Let's all join hands and change the world🫶🌏🫶

Literally all that I ask for is a platform that has none of the likes, followers, reblogs number bullshit so I can just post my art in peace without the self defeating comparison of post numbers lol. I had a taste of Cohost and I WANT IT BACK. FUCK this numbers game.

000

Unkofire (no longer posting art here) @unkofire.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

I do think that social media like this leaves some sort of bias as well. The more numbers a post has, the more engagement its prob gonna get

010

Unkofire (no longer posting art here) @unkofire.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

Honestly, with any platform that puts numbers above anything else, I think it can lead to a pretty stale and non-receptive environment. I dont think you're doing anything wrong.

Unkofire (no longer posting art here) @unkofire.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

Severely limiting my activity on here. I realize that social media in general is incredibly unhealthy. I feel like the only way I'd ever consider being more active is if Cohost version 2 happened, but I don't think we will ever get something like Cohost ever again.
