Avoid correcting factual errors. If your loved one calls you by a different name or repeats a the same question for the umpteenth time, there's no need to point out the “error”, and make the person feel bad about not remembering. When you resist “being right”, and instead choose to be kind, you'll have a more positive interaction with your loved one.
