Only benefits those who buy the product/service, not all consumers. My retired parent never owned or used a PC, yet benefited from Social Security benefits adjusted for inflation, as did all beneficiaries. Relying on productivity deflation to address affordability is using hope as a plan. Bad idea.

Productivity increases do not guarantee all Americans benefit. A living minimum wage adjusted for inflation does. When originally passed, the minimum wage was a living wage. It was a rising tide that lifted all boats. It needs to be returned to its original intent!

Affordability is cured with higher wages. Price deflation occurs during economic depressions, high unemployment which is terrible for the middle & lower class workers. MINIMUM WAGE NEEDS TO BE A LIVING WAGE!
