Abolish the Senate: As a Social Democrat, I'm on the same page as they are in many regards. But they go too far for me in some areas and I think we'd be better off with an organization that doesn't espouse their more radical views.

I don't need a lecture on prison reform. I've volunteered at our community justice center. I'm a social dem. I'm here b/c I support Holler & voting rights I'm not interpreting. "Freedom for all incarcerated people" means what it means. You're choosing to interpret it other than literally.

As of July 13, 2026, DSA-US had at the top of their platform page the item "Universal Suffrage...noncitizen voting" The printed literature for 2025-26 has the same. By July 26, it was removed from the website. Still in print and still on some of the chapter websites, though.

I especially like this one. Noncitizen voting in combination with open borders. I'm not here to defend the status quo with the Dem party. But we'll get further calling what we want social democracy - not democratic socialism - due to the DSA baggage.

Every voter was one time part of the 18-24 block so there's no "us" or "they" *It's been all of us at some point*. And that age group didn't support in '24 - many stayed home and many young men went republican.
