Latest post-midnight take: Tootsie-Rolls started coming in different flavors to make people more invested in the original chocolate variety, as a means of implying scarcity or that the company would eventually phase it out. I can't prove this but it explains why every other flavor sucks ass.

I think certain neurodivergencies and disorders would be the equivalent of drugs to Mind Flayers. ADHD = Meth, Cocaine, etc. Depression = Alcohol, some Marijuana plants Autism = Mushrooms (this one will make you think WAY too much about sloths) OCD/Bipolar/Schizo etc. = BAD TRIP

Watched Castle in the Sky for the first time tonight. Obviously great movie, 10/10. There's some good symbolism in the way the spell to find Laputa was 6-8 words, but the spell to destroy it was only one. It's so much easier to destroy than it is to search and find ... But the latter means way more

I think there could be a lot of value in a full-priced video game with gacha-style mechanics that ... A. Doesn't allow you to buy pulls, you must acquire them via quests in-game. B. Doesn't necessitate grinding for an eternity to make weapons/characters viable. C. Generally respects players' time

So I recently got my LG v60 ThinQ fixed, its battery got jostled after I dropped it and just needed to be physically reset in its socket. On an unrelated issue, I just checked my phone's battery settings. The menu reads "non-removable battery." I watched someone remove it. Your phone lies to you.
