went for another stupid little walk. pleasant enough but still profoundly boring. gotta get used to it again

i know some of you read the wsj and presumably get something of value from it but all i ever see are headlines like these and so i assume the entire paper is either staffed with propagandists or people who live in the wealth dimension separate from everyone else's social reality

7-1 on my first reality fracture draft so im declaring the format "good"

i only repost myself bc i thought that and instantly knew i already said that. not because it's funny. idk. there was a logic to this somewhere

forced myself to go on a stupid little walk instead of get sad. i would really like to go back to doing it regularly again but here's the thing: it's boring. i don't want to listen to podcasts anymore and i really don't have the disposition for audiobooks

soon it's the sadness hour... the hour when i feel the tired sadness...

finished this. very good romhack, and better written than any actual fe game, although i do feel it stumbles a bit at the very end. very good map design too, no real slogs, no fuck you ambushes or status staff enemy placements, expects and rewards playing efficiently. it's gay also

when i played on a wow private server, it didn't have the functionality that retail did where it dismounts you when you go inside. so, since this was a roleplay server, it was enforced as a social norm. it was VERY rude to bring your horse inside, people would just yell "get that beast outta here"

questing bestie @unhaunting.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

i have the tired feeling... it is something about this hour of the day rather than genuine fatigue

010

questing bestie @unhaunting.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

i don't think about it a lot but the default behavior of the "rude" moderation tag is one of the silliest and most childish things on this website. i didn't even know you could toggle that warning off until just now, because you have to go to the super special additional options?

the attention to little details like class description tooltips does not disappoint

class description from the drums of war romhack for fe8: "Like crocodiles, these predators emerge from the sea with surprising alacrity. Excel vs. soft targets, such as civilians."

reality fracture looks like a real draft format... been a minute since there's been one of those. a lot of duskmourn-level "lol u lose" bombs in there but that's every set now

getting irrationally angry at the thought of people trying to put their usual funny caption on this perfect photo

on chapter 8 or 9 of drums of war now. i wouldn't be surprised if this has fewer than the traditional 20-something chapters of a fe game, but i would be sad, since it's great

so hard to match the mechanical comedy of setting up to eat an enemy in ff9, carefully getting them below 20% or whatever, getting excited about the sick new blue magic you might get, and then quina hits you with that "Taste bad!"

I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. So it warms the cockles of my heart to see so many of them having a full meltdown about the recent set. Enjoy!!

the "lofi girl" is some kind of brand now. built solely on one stolen frame from an anime. i know this because they had a collab with wizards of the coast to sell alternate art mtg cards. how does this make you feel? it makes me feel like there's no point writing fiction
