I was a pretty faun at the local renaissance festival! Made my ears, tail and flower crown, borrowed @ravenwritgames.bsky.social’s cane so I could balance in my cool hooves by @magpiebones.bsky.social

In honor of scary media month: what is the first piece of media you remember truly frightening you as a child? The Brave Little Toaster has so many scenes. The A/C blowing up, dying flower, blankie being blown away, the mud, THE CLOWN, the repair shop guy, the GIANT MAGNET and car crusher.

A prop I made for a production of A Year With Frog and Toad at my theatre! Frog and his mom n’ dad! I get a lot of Over the Garden Wall comparisons, which I haven’t seen but will when the time is right! #animalart #posca #frogandtoad

A paint pen portrait on a round slice of wood of a father frog with a mustache and bowler hat, a mother frog in a frilly dress and fancy feathered hat and young frog in a sailor suit.

Had a year or two where I was obsessed with the browser game Lioden. Here's my king, Matta, who took generations of breeding to look this blue, and is probably worth 10sb now...

A horsie redraw and the tiny Breyer I used for reference both times. Go and take a wild guess who Raven is the offspring of.

A sketch from 2005? Atop a complete redraw from 2023 of a Paint Horse mare galloping. A small Breyer model in the same pose sits in the corner.

One mug for tea, one mug for paint water. Maybe don’t keep them so close together. Also I need to find where that painting went and finish it…

A watercolor painting setup at a desk. Two coffee mugs are suspiciously close together and the artist is probably going to drink the paint water.

If you see this, post your riders! (Horizon Zero Dawn originally had Aloy ride a regular horse. What if they stayed with that idea? Horse’s name is Tall Grass.)

Sometimes you gotta draw an old friend for the pure joy of it. Unakite is my sometimes majestic, but more often shaggy and mud covered Classical Unicorn OC. She mimic any birdcall and is the Patron Saint of Unshaved Legs.

A pencil sketch of a quadrupedal classical unicorn (more deer than horse) prancing. She has a long messy mane, a bushy tail curled over itself and a horn the texture of a deer antler.
