gotta say "you need to go back to Africa - with your overly racist ass" is not a version I can say I've heard too often

Nederland ondergraaft daarmee Europees beleid...

Doubly proud to register my daughter’s birth yesterday in a building (Sheffield Town Hall) flying the Palestinian flag.

Just received a particularly egregious fake newspaper tabloid from Tower Hamlets Labour. As far as I can see, the only mention of the word Labour is in the small imprint on the bottom of the back page.

A photograph of the front and back page of "eastendNEWS". Both pages are critical of Tower Hamlets Mayor Lutfur Rahman. Not visible in this photo, because it's far too small, is the imprint on the bottom of the back page that acknowledges that this was distributed by the Labour Party.

A close up of the imprint, which can now be read as saying "Promoted by Chris Weavers on behalf of Tower Hamlets Labour..." with a reference to the Labour Party privacy policy.

Superb digging here by my colleague Jess Staufenberg alongside @datadesk.eco and reporters in seven countries. Transnational problems require transnational reporting. www.source-material.org/toxic-fuel-u...

A few recent pics of west Sheffield

Our garden in Walkley, Sheffield at midnight last night.

A view of Stannington from Bole Hill — I try to do this walk every day.

The Royal Hallamshire hospital main building, on the evening of the day my daughter was born in the Jessop Wing.
