This gun was alwasy fun until you either lost most of the discs or got tagged by one from your sibling. I owned the rifle verstion that was a bit more accurate in its aim.

I sure do miss Battle Beasts. Granted, it was a jazzed up way to play rock-paper-scissors, but these little rubber monsters displayed so nicely.

Enjoyed the first two hours of The Devil In Me. The narrative is unwinding nicely and for a Dark Pictures game, I rank it above Directive 8020 but just below House Of Ashes. As usual, here is a jumpscare flip for you all to enjoy.

I have had this since I was 5 and it still works. This is a 1977 Texas Instruments digital Star Wars watch. They came in a black and gray band variation. It sits nicely on my Geek Treasure cabinet and will get handed down one day.

The streets of my childhood were populated by the fastest little cars known to kids. In 1985, McDonald’s even dropped these "Fast Mac" Penny Racers. Slip a penny in the back for extra weight, pull back, and watch it pop a wheelie. We spent way too much of Grade 9 racing these in the cafeteria.

Before Spotify, the Sony Walkman was absolute freedom. We had our single tape of our favortie songs we would play over and over as we walked or biked. Having the battires die on your far from home was a bummer. Want to listen to a particular song? Better have great fast forwarding skills.

I was never a fan of Orange Julius' drinks, but their hot dogs rocked in the 80s. I always snagged one when I hit the mall.

As buggy as it was, I really enjoued playing Darklands (1992). With its deep RPG system and being based on the Holy Roman Empire in the 15th century, it really held my attention on many weekends.

I think a lot of us had the D&D basic set aka the good old red box. The feeling I expected when I got the Expert set was incredible. More levels. Most spells. More monsters. Wilderness rules. Strongholds! Love the old blue set, which I still have.

Back in the mid 80s, slime was all the rage. You could buy cans of it and stain the carpets in your house quite easily. Everyone was jumping on the slime trend and that included He-Man. You could buy this nifty toy, pour slime over your figures and then try to clean them off.

Another RPG artifact I use to own was Chainmail. This was a book of early medieval miniature combat rules crated by Gygax and Perren. It contained an appendix for fantasy units. It was small, but was groundbreaking for what it established.

These vending machines were everywhere in my youth. Always good for a quick sugar boost or plastic trinket. The absolute pinnacle prize for me were the little joke books. They were usually mixed in with other prizes so getting them was rare. I managed to pull 2 in my lifetime & it was exciting!

I do miss the Pizza Hutt's of the past. It was just an experience to go to one. - the red cups made the pop taste better. - the stained glass lights made it feel a little classy. - there was always a cocktail cabinet to play after your meal. - you could read books to get free pizza.
