A quick life update. Work has been incredibly busy, so my evening energy is pretty zapped. It has been hard to find time to write, but I am still trying. I did finish a draft of a new story, but it is pretty long. It is going to take a while to edit but I hope you enjoy it when it is done.

Looks like another busy weekend where I will be doing very little writing. The good news is I am planning to come back hard with the podcast on 2025 for sure along with an anthology collection of some of the best stories. My long-term goal: Finish the poetry book about the Rise and Fall of Mars.

I was having breakfast this morning and thinking of the weather, when a totally random phrase popped into my bead. The Hangman’s Tree. An hour later, I have a full story written in my head. It is more suspense than horror, I think, but it should be one of my favourites.

What scares me? That one day, one of my stories becomes reality. As I watch the world around me, with the ongoing climate change and the rise of AI, I fear we creep closer to a point where episodes “Driven” or “Flooded” are no longer fiction.
