Incredibly predictable. Jumping in to his YA stuff was a mistake. Nearly the same plot as Fourth Wing. Dragons > nearly sentient space planes

I’ve heard that’s great. Mistborn is just so long. I finished the count of monte cristo like 4 months ago and I still can’t stomach another 1200 page book yet. Keep it under 600 and I’m fine.

I just finished Skyward and it might have been the most predictable book I’ve ever read. It’s YA though (which I like) but maybe not his wheelhouse
