So you can emulate a 3DS on a Steam Deck and it’ll cruise along, but it looks…awkward. You don’t want to show just one screen and miss something, but the resolution math on fitting two at once isn’t mathing.

For #RandomGameSaturday, I pulled out my young adult kid’s copy of Nintenogs for DS. I’m hanging onto this because I assume they’ll get nostalgia and want to play it again someday. I even backed up the save game in like 2018 so that digital dog is basically immortal.

For #RandomGameSaturday, I got frustrated trying to play my GBA with all the soft lighting in my house. So I backed up Wario Land 4 on my old DS, tossed the ROM onto my 3DS and used open_agb_firm to load it. So I'm running my GBA games at native resolution on a nice bright screen!

I found a SNES Classic for cheap on Facebook, immediately extracted the games and put them into Retroarch on my iPad so I can get those Retro Achievements. I also legally own Super Metroid for the first time after renting it like seven times as a teen.

I bought an original GBA because it’s nice playing games on a device that isn’t blasting a light into my eyes, but I also loaded up Yoshi’s Island on Delta Emulator and it’s very pretty and sharp.

I defended Marvel’s Avengers when it was supported and I probably will forever. They supported that game with like 12 characters and more than doubled the amount of content, for free, with a top notch voice cast. Arguably better MODOK and Taskmaster than the MCU too.
