After buying everything from copy-of-a-copy VHS to bootleg blurays, I finally have my endgame: Rad in 4K

Aw hell yeah. Deadly Prey Gallery is rolling through soon. I think it's finally time to live by the code and pick this guy up: deadly-prey-gallery.myshopify.com/products/gho...

Bootleg Ghanaian movie poster for the film Ghost Dog. Several sick-ass images of dogs. One has a machine gun, another is wearing a ghost costume and firing lasers from its eyes

One of my pickups. Baffled as to why I didn't have it already. Also wanted to buy something cause the guy was a Giant Bomb fan.

Made it out to a physical media swap/market today. (old movies, music, and such) Waaay too much good stuff at the @videodrome.bsky.social table. Had a good time getting nostalgic with vendors about Titanic VHS and Sega Master Systems.

Stickers, pin from the only video store in Atlanta, Videodrome. Also a Jason Voorhees pin because, of course.

Celebrating Walpurgisnacht early with The Last Drive-In this evening. It's only my son and I tonight and I think he might just be ready for what the first movie is rumored to be. @therealjoebob123.bsky.social @darcythemailgirl.bsky.social #Walpurgisnacht #TheLastDriveIn #MutantFam

Kid got assigned some work last week to do over break and it's likely April Fools' Day bullshit--seems unsolveable. Desperate, I ran it through AI and, holy shit, this is what it came back with as a solution... just straight up created a new entry, crossed lines, and stopped somewhere in the middle.

8bitdo's new controller works on Xbox wirelessly, has some classy Rare branding, but is $90. Microsoft licensing must be brutal. At least they threw in some thumbstick grips...

Got that 8bitdo N64 controller today so I could finally play some N64 games, but now I'm like... I really don't like a lot of N64 games.

Took a while to get here, but man am I impressed with the build quality. The buttons are too clickly for my tastes, but I think I can change out the switches. This'd be an easr rec to people @~$100, but there isn't a PS version--just Switch and Xbox. Both work on PC though.

Holy shit does this Nova 2 Lite d-pad have a hair-trigger. I think it might even feel too sensitive, but I can hold down and rock left and right and the diagonal won't register until I want it to register. It's a damn fine d-pad if you can get used to how sensitive it is.

To celebrate Jason's bday tonight (June 13th 1946), we're going to watch the first and arguably last F13 movie: The OG and Jason X. Wide swath, I know. I've yet to see these in 4K and have been saving them just for tonight.

Popped up in a photo roll--not sure if I ever posted these. Griff LOVED Luchadeer... although, I'm not sure he should've put his mouth on him like that. Ah well, he lived, obviously. @giantbomb.bsky.social
