I still need to do the fine details & do the smaller parts. I also haven't touched the battle sister or little cherubs yet. But all in all I'm pretty proud considering it's my first time doing something like this. Could def be a lot worse ☺️ #warhammer #warhammer40k #miniaturepainting

at an appointment to meet a new primary care and I'm in this waiting room all by myself. And as cool as it is that this place is supporting artists instead of getting something generic, I can't help but feel like I'm having the sins in my heart judged

okay I've clipped everything out of the sprue (just learned that word ^^) and it's all primed. The parts I felt I could glue without it affecting my access have all been glued.... don't think I can procrastinate any more, so I guess it's time to paint 😤 #warhammer #warhammer40k #miniaturepainting

Two sisters, Mary (34) and Rebecca (18) laid to rest next to each other in the late 1800s. I don't have anything to say, I just thought it both tragic and sweet. Especially since Mary was only about 10 when Rebecca died. I can't imagine what their parents must have gone through... 📷 #photography

a picture of two weathered headstones

left reads:
Mary M.

beneath that is a small quote that is a bit too worn to read.

right reads:

just like the first headstone, the passage beneath is a bit too worn for me to make out more than a few words.

Samjo Baggins @unafraidofbees.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

This one made me a bit sad. No clue how the headstone could have broke, but it didn't look fresh. The piece with the years/ his age at death was face down and a bit overgrown and I was worried about breaking it more trying to pry it up, so the name "Henry King" is all I know. 📷 #photography

I recently started panning his catalog for unintended bangers and that's, like, a solid 30-40% of what he does lol He had one with a priest worshiping marxist Jesus where the point was that would be bad, but instead he just made it based

a 4 panel cut from one of Jack Chick's comic panels. In these panels a priest is talking to a man named Jaun.

panel 1:
- Juan: "Excuse me. Father, but I thought the Catholic church hated the communist."
- Priest: "Not any more, Jaun... not any more. Many of them have changed."

panel 2:
- Juan: "Father, I am mixed up. How can you br a follower of Jesus and be a Marxist?"
- Priest: "Haw, haw, haw! My son, didn't you know that Jesus was a revolutionary, JUST LIKE CARLOS?"
- Juan, in a thought bubble: gasp!
- Priest: "He fought to overthrow the oppressive Roman Government. We follow HIS example.

panel 3, the Father shows Carlos a picture of Jesus with an AK47:
- Priest: "Here is the Jesus I preach."
- Priest: "He said take from the rich and give to the poor, you know."

panel 4:
- Priest: "Juan, man is basically good.* The capitalist system has enslaved him with social, economic and political chains. Our message of Liberation Theology will deliver him."
- Priest: "Once we overthrow this system, we are freedom from slavery through socialism. And THAT'S our salvation!"
