a raen auri woman in a pilot's cap leans on a snowy ledge in ishgard, staring longingly at the night sky. stars and galaxies abound in the background and in the reflection of her eyes. a fire burns brightly and the ishgardian aetheryte glows faintly behind her.

yesyesyes i'm ECSTATIC (even though *technically* icaria isn't The WoL in her story, just knowing that she'd be thrilled to explore a realm of airships has ME thrilled)

a raen auri woman stands in her smallclothes in the stark light shining through a barred window. the shadows frame her scales wrapping around her waist, climbing up her thighs, brushing across her cheeks, and hugging her arms.

members of the FFXIV Confederacy of the Ruby Sea gather at a table for evening drinks. in the background stands a series of colorful flags representing the organization and its diverse makeup. Nadja Crofte, a highlander woman, sits towards the center of the composition, toasting a large tankard of ale. beside her sits Umi Icaria, a raen auri woman, watching her and giggling. several other members of the Confederacy hold tankards and wear expressions of joy.

"At this rate, it'd tarnish our reputation to present this one to our buyers, so do with it what you wish. Maybe it'll find the strength to take you skyward one day!" (2/2)

// ok so the ocean wouldn't necessarily turn red bc of a falling dalamud but it's a really cool visual in my head and i love the idea of the ruby sea living up to its name!! also a moon-sized object falling to the earth would surely affect ocean inhabitants quite drastically anyway, so still scary!!

day 12 of #auraugust - defeat when the red moon fell, the ruby sea swelled. #auraugust2026 / #au_ra / #おはウラ / #GPOSERS / #icicaria

a raen auri family of 3 clutches one another as they stand beneath the dome of sui-no-sato, colored a deep red by the light of the falling dalamud. the auri man steadies his wife with one hand on her back, the other clasping his daughter's hand. the auri woman presses against her husband while looking outwards towards her home, fearful. their daughter wears a similar expression.

icaria inherited her father's tail and nose scales; her mother's face scales and horns; and her father's secondary horns (though hers have yet to grow to his length)!!
