Hi, I'm Daura! I like to write lore & dialogue about my #FFXIV OCs and take GPOSEs. Behold the two elezens who live rent-free in my mind. Their lore lives under #aurelius_lore, #casra_lore and #VerdantQuill, new bits added as I go. Hope this visual helps you get to know them!

It's done. Friends, I am so bad at reacting or cheering after an assignment. I am just, "okay that's submitted... anyway, next-" really need to better at doing that for sure 💯 especially considering my hard efforts

As you may have guessed, Peregrion is Aurelius' Azem. He's listless, spacey, and gentle. Aurelius believes that what is loved should be remembered. Peregrion believes that what is loved does not need to be kept. It is enough for it to have happened 💭 What do we think? :D #peregrion_lore

"Forgive me, but I prefer to remain nameless. It saves me the trouble of remembering your name when we part paths later." He travelled as lightly as morning mist. Alas, the star keeps track of its rovers, however softly they step. In the fading margins of memory... Peregrion, the Traveler. #FFXIV

Peregrion might watch a sunset and not photograph it. Aurelius would be horrified. You're not writing it down?? Or painting it?? YOU'RE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING?? "... ...Hm? I'm watching." 😭

WoL / Azem Aurelius Recueil and Peregrion. Same gentle eyes. He wants to be written down, while he'd rather not be. Aurelius: "Do tell me your name, so I might never forget it!" Peregrion: "...Sure. Pick one." #peregrion_lore | #FFXIV

Aurelius would want to sit and write somewhere. His more outlandish dream is to steal an airship and fly it to the Sea of Clouds with no plans. Casra would enjoy a peaceful picnic by the river. He also wants to explore the arid deserts of Thanalan, and maybe venture into the Ruins of Sil'dih.

Daura (Aurelius Recueil) @daura-xiv.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Tuliyollal, possibly. It's bustling and noisy but it's also a fresh new culture! The Shroud is Casra's home but it's a place of his labour. Aurelius just jumps from inn to inn. Radz-at-Han is possible but the Arkasodara would swarm them for their alchemy/scholarly interests. 😂

Casra rarely drinks, but he's surprisingly capable at it. 😂 If he does somehow get drunk, expect longer pauses, slightly more bitter commentary and processing stuff he otherwise wouldn't. But I also think he'd just snap back into his Ishgardian noble self and 😂😂 oh no #casra_lore

120

Daura (Aurelius Recueil) @daura-xiv.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

😂 Casra wrestled a drunk Aurelius one time. Aurelius: “*dramatic sniffle* how callous... how vile! manhandled by a brute! RELEASE me.” Casra: “No.” Aurelius: “I demand to be released.” Casra: “No.” Aurelius: “You have no respect for the sanctity of the scholarly body.”

There are two verdicts that make usefulness Casra's greatest wound. The first: that his life was worth more than the ones who bled out at Carteneau, The second: a dishonour to House Cielvert. He gave up the sword and now his mother sees him as something to be corrected. #casra_lore

One of Aurelius' fears is shaped a bit differently to what you might expect. He's more concerned that he'd vanish without any record of having existed. He's spent his whole life being the foundling nobody claimed, the outsider whose guardians vanished without explanation. #aurelius_lore
