#UMD physicists played an essential role in the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of high-energy cosmic neutrinos: go.umd.edu/neutrinos They helped design the IceCube Neutrino Observatory’s data storage, analysis and alert systems, and they play a big role in observatory operations and data analysis.
