Just watched the new Resident Evil movie and I already knew it was gonna be the most accurate horror game adaptation of all time when the protagonist evaded a zombie by running around an object in circles for a minute.

i’ve always wanted to do a color wheel challenge and i decided to make mine a study on simplifying characters, so here’s a color wheel of some of my favorite guys in video games!! shout out to these guys, i love them #art #colorwheelchallenge

an eight-color color wheel with various video game characters. each color has five characters each, interacting with each other or simply vibing.

a breakdown of characters by color:
-red: shy guy (mario), dung defender (hollow knight), ichigo (katamari), miso (katamari), zagreus (katamari);
-orange: roc (xenoblade), taion (xb), kinoko (katamari), manana (xb), olimar (pikmin);
-yellow: pichu (pokemon), vodka (umamusume), haley (stardew valley), goldie (animal crossing), nia (xb);
-green: link (wind waker), the prince (katamari), ogerpon (pokemon), marmu (hollow knight), taiki shuttle (umamusume);
-teal: thanatos (hades), whaleson (katamari), foomin (katamari), shovel knight (shovel knight), mejiro palmer (umamusume);
-blue: piplup (pokemon), matikanetannhauser (umamusume), melia (xb), oguri cap (umamusume), undyne (undertale);
-purple: chamba (katamari), velvet (katamari), gengar (pokemon), brighid (xb), malos (xb);
pink: beyond (katamari), celeste (ac), flora (ac), honey (katamari), alcremie (pokemon)

some fun extras: there are pikmin (pikmin) and junimo (stardew valley) scattered across the colors, with some of them mimicking the main characters’ poses and behavior; zagreus and thanatos are looking at one another and smiling; manana is asking kinoko about her edibility, to kinoko’s annoyance and taion’s horror; gengar is sneaking into the purple group, surprising chamba and velvet; celeste is holding a large star fragment, which the rest of the pink group is reacting with joy and curiosity.

btw i'm the one that came up with the name for jamie and vane's new music duo!!! 😀🍎👁️‍🗨️ i was shown some jokes that were like "they kicked rice out" and it's funny but i also wanted to make it clear publicly that is not the case! nothing's happened to FF, Apple's Eye is just its own separate thing!!

i think the main thing is simply that "games are an art form, and not all art has to be fun" is the combined maxim that most applies. UNBEATABLE is REALLY fun. but also there are some unfun parts that are important to making it a complete piece of art.

I think that perhaps it might be worth thinking about if "games must be fun or they are bad" is the maxim that you follow, or if "games are an art form" is the maxim that you follow. These are fundamentally mutually exclusive philosophies. None of that matters, though, because UNBEATABLE is very fun

This is purely speculation, but Kojima words his post that he "unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project", not something like "there were creative differences" or he felt like Xbox would be a better publisher. Sony is just THAT fucking stupid.
