Did you recently update your #rstats to 4.6? Is your matrix algebra slow? Not #BLAS ting? `sessionInfo()` shows which BLAS library R uses. Switching from reference BLAS to Apple Accelerate is easily a 50x speedup. Let me know if this worked for you. 🚀 Post […]

The 📦 `wrds` dev version displays the official product names for a more human-readable version of the table names. The package now comes with a #rstats #pkgdown site: statzhero.github.io/wrds/news/index… All that's missing is a hex sticker? Send ideas.

oof what happened to ebay? If you pay $100 for something shipped from New York, the seller might only keep around a third, so $66, after sales tax, shipping, and fees. What a haircut, feels like #ebay is cooked

`wrds` 0.1.1 is out. It has better error messages for Duo 2FA issues, and a new `wrds_update_password()` function. Install from GitHub with `pak::pak("statzhero/wrds")`. Feedback welcome. #rstats github.com/statzhero/wrds

A table titled "Yearly average exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into U.S. dollars" showing one row for the Euro Zone. The Euro averaged 0.886 per U.S. dollar in 2025, 0.924 in 2024, and 0.924 in 2023. The 2024 value (0.924) is circled in red, highlighting a comma instead of a decimal point.
