Parental imprisonment is a children's rights issue: 20–27k children affected each year c60% of people in prison are parents 2/3 of their children don't get visits 1/3 witness their parent’s arrest Just 5% stay in the family home if mum’s imprisoned 2–3x higher risk of mental health issues
