When UN agencies finish confirming August data, they’ll announce that some 4,000 Ukrainian children have been injured or killed by Russian missiles & drones since February 2022. Now massive attacks on infrastructure will leave millions of Ukrainian families without heat in a brutal coming winter.

We are back in Ukraine. Good to see our partners helping us support kids impacted by this long, brutal war. Last night Russia launched one of the largest attacks on Kyiv killing at least 18, injuring dozens.

When Regional Director Yuliia Kardash planned a visit to UCAP funded programs serving children in Odesa and the surrounding region, a large-scale missile and drone attack made travel unsafe and forced her to postpone the trip.

I had an opportunity to speak with a group of Congressional members and staff earlier this week about the steep increase in war crimes being committed every day by relentless air attacks from Russian drones. These horrendous weapons are almost impossible to disarm.
