I hadn't been out there since my son was born 14 years ago. I've only gone twice over the past month, but you can feel that the fear and general anxiety (vis the violent settlers) are both greater and more widespread than in the past. Those I trust also say it's esp. bad this year (due to Gaza etc).

When Hamas started hijacking aid for profit/power we should have flooded Gaza with food. The Knesset session ends on Sunday and it'll be far harder to remove Bibi. Hamas have had this time to try to communicate and reach a unified position. Hopefully next week there'll be a ceasefire. 🎗️

In #Gaza, Hamas is almost everywhere and has many guns. Armed men: the IDF, American "contractors", Hamas and other gunmen. Each has different circumstances/reasons/motives why either as individual soldiers/officers or as organisations they might open fire. The group with the most motive is Hamas.

According to the IAEA, reported on the BBC* today, the Iranian regime recently stepped up enrichment and had 408kg of 60% enriched uranium, a step away from 90% needed for a bomb and enough for 10 bombs. The regime have motive; they could not be allowed to have opportunity. *Those known Zionists!
