During the championship final, the crowd filled the plaza and spilled into the closed street. We do not read that as a capacity failure. We read it as demand evidence. The U District needs more room for people, and it needs it at the station.

Submit Survey Now > udistrict.org/safe-crossing. Councilmember Rivera is asking for constituent feedback by February 25 (today) on where to spend $2m on transportation safety in District Four. A Safe Crossing over Interstate 5 on NE 45th Street is long overdue.
