🚨 Applications close TODAY at 11:59 PM! 🚨 Interested in pursuing #gradschool in #ecology or #evolutionarybiology? Join our E&E Graduate Preview Program to receive application support and mentorship ✍️🎓 🐮 Run by @ucdavis.bsky.social grad students, but applicable to all E&E grad programs!
Promotional flyer with a dark navy blue background advertising an ecology and evolutionary biology graduate school preparation program. At the top, large white text reads: “Interested in grad school for ecology or evolutionary biology?”

Centered in the flyer is a blue square logo with stylized mountain silhouettes and the words “E&E Grad Preview” in large white text. Surrounding the logo in a circular arrangement are oversized light-blue letters spelling “Applications due today.”

Decorative illustrations include a tall white wading bird with blue and black wing markings and orange beak and legs along the left side, blue starburst shapes in the upper-right and lower corners, and cattail plants in the lower-right corner.

Below the circular text, smaller white text lists program features: “One-on-one mentorship, Grad student & professor panels, How to write application materials.”

A prominent section near the bottom announces the deadline in large light-blue text:
“Applications close at:

Considering #graduate school in #Evolution & #Ecology? 🌱 Join our FREE virtual program to learn about grad school, get one-on-one mentorship, and strengthen your application with guidance from grad students and faculty. Students from historically excluded groups are especially encouraged to apply!
A green-themed promotional flyer for the 2026 Evolution & Ecology Grad Preview Program. The design uses multiple shades of olive and lime green with rounded rectangular panels, bold black-outlined text, and hand-drawn scientific illustrations of animals and fossils.

At the top left is a small leaf-like logo beside the text "2026." A dragonfly illustration appears near the title. The main heading reads, "Evolution & Ecology", followed by the large text "GRAD PREVIEW PROGRAM." To the right of the title is a detailed illustration of a tortoise with decorative looping green lines behind it.

Below the title, text asks: "Feeling lost about how to apply to grad school?" An arrow points toward a dark green information box containing a rounded banner that reads: "Join us and learn about the nuts and bolts of grad school."

A checklist with green checkmark icons highlights the program's features:

One-on-one mentorship
Grad student & professor panels
How to write an application
Completely virtual & FREE

A fossilized animal skeleton illustration is layered into the lower right corner of the checklist box.

Near the bottom, a large button-style banner reads "APPLY TODAY" followed by the website: https://eegradpreview.weebly.com.

The lower left section states: "Students from historically excluded groups are especially encouraged to apply."

On the lower right, the event details read:

August 10–20th
5–6:15 pm PST
over Zoom

Decorative scientific illustrations frame the flyer, including a fossil or trilobite-like organism along the left edge, an abstract branching pattern near the top, and a fox-like mammal in the lower right corner. Small starburst and arrow graphics add visual accents throughout the design. The overall aesthetic combines natural history imagery with modern graphic design in a monochromatic green color palette.
