I often speculated that Vince used women’s talent back then as a bargaining chip to keep certain talent on board given that he offered up Janel Grant so readily as if it was routine. Not to say every relationship in WWE was part of transaction but it’s enough to raise eyebrows.

I’ll say this as a long time Ospreay fan, he is due for a long and fulfilling title reign. He did the jobs in AEW despite having the leverage to just take anything. He was mishandled in NJPW and never got his proper due. I see this guy as for once the best fucking wrestler gets to be thee babyface.

It’s exhausting. Some of this may be valid but it comes off that people just don’t like him and will have these double standards. Like you have people actively campaigning for Andrade to take the title off him which just 2 years ago, they said Ospreay had to earn the World Title and it’s too soon.

Hell that Ospreay Ricochet match had people actually mad that it was Ospreay who hit the Black Arrow. Ricochet has never done a Black Arrow in his career let alone a corkscrew moonsault yet Ospreay doing it and losing the match as world fucking champ made sense?

Every Ospreay match that is good is attributed to his opponent and not him. Go back and see the reaction to the Hangman match and you see people say that Hangman was the lead and keeping Ospreay in check.

It’s overwrought and after the convoluted and overbooked main event at All Out, it’s not a great match choice to follow up with. Seems like it’s being done because there isn’t a lot of time to build up the PPV.

I just wanted a fairly straightforward match against Mox where Mox put over Ospreay clean. Instead I get the worst of the Deathrider Mox title run that was so bad that it actively took Mox off singles matches for two months because he was actively ruining shows.

I don’t get the argument that Will Ospreay shouldn’t do the Black Arrow anymore one of the things that kept the legacy of Eddie Guerrero alive were people doing his moves and his spots. Only a few wrestlers in the business can actually do it and one of them is the champ.

In 205 Live, he was great. He had a decent match by AEW/NJPW standards with Cedric Alexander. Note that he had both of his finishers that he innovated taken by WWE talent so he was working with bare minimums.
