That Gwath block was LeBron-esque. He had it tracked all the way from half court. Feels like there’s energy on both sides of the ball. Defense is swirling and on offense the ball is moving side to side. Boyd’s efficiency has been the difference. Hopefully Miles gets it going in the 2nd half.

Start: ‘20 Mitchell Bench: ‘21 Schakel Cut: ‘25 Byrd Mitchell gets the start. 3 level scorer and solid defender. Schakel get the bench. Greatest shooter in Aztec history and the definition of an Aztec. Byrd gets the cut. Love what he’s doing this season, but he’s not above the other 2 quite yet.

His length/speed seems to catch a lot of players off guard. Will be curious over the season if Magoon’s block rate translates to less paint scoring when he’s on the floor.
