Adam clearly screwed up the call to end the race. The excitement played into it, obviously, but I don’t think the remote broadcast helps. If the guys were actually *at* Las Vegas, he probably wouldn’t have called it a vastly different race track.

It’s well past time for the garage to basically just punt Carson any time he’s in front of him. Don’t even have to wreck his ass. Just let him know he’s going up towards the wall. You can’t keep letting this guy turn you every time he’s underneath you

The garage let this go too far. When Ross Chastain was causing issues, it was handled pretty quick. Other drivers sent him a message. Chevy’s support of Trackhouse and Ross specifically took a bit of a dive, but Chevy won’t do the same with Spire, so he still gets fast cars and terrorizes the field.

The more and more I think about it, Hocevar isn’t good for the sport. He has no racecraft and refuses to apologize when he causes problems and his fanbase loves it. It feels like a dumbing down of the sport because his fans see it as entertaining and enjoy the memes he creates.

I don’t like either Sawalich or Day. 18 driver is just awful. Two years in JGR equipment and he hasn’t made the chase once. Day has improved a lot but he makes a lot of silly mistakes, and i don’t foresee his Cup starts going well next year. He is not ready for that series whatsoever.

The team has improved a bit this year but I think that’s because Toyota has been better than Chevy and Ford. All I’ve really seen Jimmie do is get a bunch of celebrity investors that has done nothing to improve performance. And Jimmie’s face is now being used to sell garden hoses in dollar stores?

Two things can be true: 1) Josh Berry is an improvement over John Hunter Nemechek, even if only marginally. 2) Jimmie Johnson genuinely has done nothing as a team owner over the last four or so years that has impressed me.

He beat the JRM cars, Austin Hill and Brandon Jones. Good on Ryan. Everyone knew he had the potential to be a winner, and probably should have won on a few occasions, but I didn’t see this one coming tonight.
