The Asmongold harassment guild situation has revealed an unfortunate downside to Forever's "only three servers" feature. Now it's much, much harder to escape them. =(

Went on a Big Walk to Mt Hyjal on the Forever beta. I trust the Forever writers with my life.

If they had a customization overhaul for retail in the pipeline they would've hinted at it here instead of picking the weakest phrasing of the question possible then beating around the bush with the answer 🙃

Having done a bit of personal research into reactions to previous race additions, particularly TBC with Belves and Draenei(blue?? strangely topical...), the reaction to Skyborne is deeply funny. Time really is a flat circle, everything we have ever done, we will do over and over again.

God I really hope we don't have to learn for the millionth time why rp-pvp servers are great on paper but not realistic long-term.

Surprise! WoW Forever will no longer keep you from playing with others in the same region on same type. RPers, I’ll see you there 🫡 I was brought into the team for this one over the last few months to help out, and the love, care and consideration in making this will hopefully feel seamlessly fun.

I'll also note for the record Terran is one of my favorite people - a genuinely wonderful person who works really hard with all of us - the stuff that's being said about him is patently not correct so I'd appreciate it if people would stop talking smack about a dev who totally loves you guys

Opt in for Forever beta, only drop the $ now if I don't get an invite before the weekend. Cause it probably won't be playable immediately under the crush of bodies. 200 IQ move.

TLT teaser is cool but man I can't engage with this on an OC level. I'm going to enjoy it!! Maybe I'm coping cause Forever provides a possible outlet!! But I miss being a smaller scale hero. I have a hard time picturing any of my characters existing in a world with Titan death bots.

If you're at Blizzcon and you don't make a "What have you been doing with your hand in the Well?" joke then I'm legally allowed to take your place Lucius the Eternal style and you have to work my job for the weekend instead

As thematic as race locked classes were for Classic I think its a hold-over of a previous time that needs to be chucked out the window immediately, even for future iterations of Classic. The idea that new content could come out where I cant play a classic race and classic class together is just ass!

Spent 3000 tender on the new trading post and I still have 4000 in the bank. My secret? I have very narrow interests and get picky about buying anything that costs over 100. Follow me for more financial advice.

There's a strong chance Illidan drops another "Sometimes the hand of fate must be forced", and it would be wholly within character because he's already re-used that like once with characters who didn't hear him drop it before

Kith'ix for (part of) 12.2 final boss. Plenty of time to beef him up to be more than a glorified world boss, considering Dimensius was an upsized Voidwalker and dead before he became one of the coolest end of expansion bosses. Xal isn't scary enough as a combatant on her own, but Xal and Kith'ix?

Classic+ will be where it gets revealed that the Arathi Empire is from a different timeline Azeroth because that's the world it'll be set in. The flash that had the Emperor send an expedition to find Beledar will coincide with the beginning of OG Classic WoW and will also be when Classic+ starts

Increasingly common pattern I've seen in Warcraft lore talks is conflating "doesnt fit my knowledge of lore" with "retcon/Blizz got it wrong" Where's your sense of wonder and whimsy and discovery lol, do you expect the lore and story to just go in endless circles and never expand or go anywhere new

Kill Ral'kala 50 times on nightmare mode for his fancy plinth? Brother I don't think I've done 50 nightmare hunts in the entire expansion and I have the meta+all nightmare target kills. What are you smoking. The absurd numbers on Coiled Isle achievements are making me feel A Way.

Not a big fan of the padding on curse surges. I try not to use the word "slop" overmuch but this is really just time wasting slop. Uninteresting, unchallenging, awkwardly timed, unrewarding. But I gotta do as many as possible now before too many others get their titles and stop doing them.
