and for their assistance and collaboration in drone warfare! when I heard about it I made this in response
Young man screaming at Zelensky "YOU ARE JUST A PROXY", Zelensky answering with a Ukraine-colored UNO reverse card, and the Clash Report tweet saying "EXCLUSIVE: Syrian opposition drone operators reveal collaboration with Ukraine to Clash Report"

I wasn't too hopeful at first but that changed quickly. I think I found out via Bluesky and also followed via Reddit Was especially happy to hear about the help Ukrainians were providing help and made this meme in response

This one, with the green E stretching across the whole width of the flag? The old European Movement flag?

one of my favorite games has Esperanto as the canon language in its setting (although sadly the text is still only available in English) !
Screenshot of the game I was a Teenage Exocolonist showing a computer screen with the avatar of the computer's AI acting as a teacher for children of colonists on the exoplanet Vertumna, with the text on the right side explaining to them that the "the language you speak - Esperanto - was invented to bring people together".

Jimmy Jump (legal name Jaume Marquet i Cot) appearing on Hungarian television during a weather forecast program, tucking on the forecaster's arm as if trying to get him out of the picture.

Wikipedia: "On 14 September 2010, after the 2010–11 UEFA Champions League group stage, Marquet appeared in a weather forecast on Hungarian television channel TV2. He waved, shouting "Barcelona, Barcelona!", placed his cap on the forecaster, and chanted "Barça!". Marquet had a microphone attached to this T-shirt because he was a guest in an earlier talk show.[11]"

I got one last year, too, because my old one was more than full already (even after giving away a lot of old books, mostly ones I inherited that I was not interested in), and now the new one is almost full as well because I tend to buy so many books each month I often spend more on them than on rent
A bookshelf with four shelves.

On top: over a dozen volumes of the Pokemon Adventure manga and other graphic novels (Tintin in Tibet, Cats of the Louvre, Lighting of the Darkness - about Tolkien's life and friends before and during WW 1), two books on how to spend your free days, e.g. weekends, a small framed painting of an 8-story concrete tower located in a wooded area with a lot of windows and an Estonian flag on top

First shelf: More graphics novels, comic books (e.g. Asterix), printed volumes of a webcomic (Stand Still, Stay Silent 1-2), books on meditation, magic and related esoteric/supernatural topics, Feral by George Monbiot (dreaming of a rewilded world), a printed edition of the fanfiction Them by Ether Echoes (with Buddhist, Hinduist and trans themes), Wonderbook by Jeff Vandermeer (a richly illustrated guide to writing stories), books and magazines on the South Atlantic island of St. Helena, some other books, a Golden Kamuy postcard-sized print, a Moomins fanart print and an unfinished zine about a sea story

Second shelf: Various books on philosophy, psychology, neuroscience and some genuinely helpful self-help books, as well as a pocket Spanish-German dictionary

Third shelf: Various travelogues and other books and magazines on traveling and geography, as well as an atlas and a book on Middle Earth's worldbuilding

Fourth shelf: Various books on nature, especially gardening, botany and ecology, as well as some books on physics and astronomy, photography and a number of photo books with historical photos.

In front of the bookshelf are books on botany, ecology, local wild flowers, foraging, herbalism, and the local history of gardening as well as the user guide for a Raspberry Pi 400.

To the left are grey bib overalls for gardening, a messenger bag and a small backpack hanging from wooden nails.

To the right is a greenish beige sofa bed with a floral print.A bookshelf with fourshelves.

On top: dozens of manga volumes from various series (including Golden Kamuy 1-6, Magus of the Library 1-7, I hear the sunspot - limit 1-3, and many other ones)

On the first shelf: Various books on mythologies, folk tales, ethnology (mostly Finno-Ugric, but also Icelandic, Czech, Ossetian, Japanese and Chinese stories) as well as modern literature from such backgrounds with the same themes, sightseeing guides on Tallinn (where I live), some language learning books

Second shelf, with more vertical space: Books and magazines on various historical topics, especially maritime history, cultural history (literature, alchemy, numbers, timekeeping...), some taller books on ecology that didn't fit in the other shelves

Third shelf: More books on history, especially ancient, regional and national histories across the world

Fourth shelf: Various novels and other storybooks, mostly from the mystery and historical genre, and/or for children

In front of the shelf: A post-apocalyptic fantasy novel and a handmade cardboard sign, showing a trans flag and yellow letters spelling out "LOVE YOUR SELF" painted on it

Behind the shelf a framed colored drawing of an underwater queen surrounded by fish, seashells and more.

The walls have a wallpaper with a blue cloudy sky and the floor is wooden.

It doesn't even follow at all from what I was told about Aquinas by this fun little What Philosopher Are You quiz! Which is very likely still a better source than what many of these people read 😛
Screenshot showing notes on Aquinas (claimed) stances on ethics. The text says:

"Aquinas (1225 or '27-1274)
All life has a purpose
Meeting this purpose allows one to be happy.
Happiness is to be found in the love of God.
God's grace providing entrance into heaven creates the highest form of human happiness.
Short of heaven, a person can achieve a more limited form of happiness through a life of virtue and friendship.
Morality is not determined by the arbitrary will of God.
Morality is derived from human nature and the activities that are objectively suited to it.
The difference between right and wrong can be appreciated through the use of reason and reflection.
Religious reflection may supplement the use of reason and reflection to determine right from wrong.
Societies must enact laws to ensure the correct application of moral reasoning.
Human nature is good because God made it good."

YES
"Election results:

Hitler - 37.5%

Thälmann - 11.5%

Gessler - 2.0%

Eckener - 48.9%

The election has been won by the independent republican candidate Hugo Eckener.

After its electoral defeat, the NSDAP-DNVP coalition is collapsing into infighting and financial insolvency. The far-right's moment has seemingly ended, at least for now."

By moderating campaigning to the new middle class I actually won the election in 1934, never had a government collapse, and merely had the Center party take over for a while. Now I have to contend with the presidential election, and can read that the NSDAP is not doing well:
Screenshot with the text describing the death of German president Paul von Hindenburg

"The nation engages in an outpouring of grief for its war hero and president, with even some sympathy among committed republicans and socialists. After all, Hindenburg steered the republic through some of its most challenging times, without giving in to extremists on the far right. Perhaps he is one reason democracy remains alive."

Of course, Adolf Hitler will be running for the Nazis, in his third run. We have kept him out of power so far, but nothing is certain. This might be the Nazis' last hurrah; the party's internal contradictions are heightening, and it is in desperate shortage of funds."

(The other far-right and communist candidate are mentioned)

"Many republicans of the Center, DStP, and SPD float the idea of running Hugo Eckener, a nationally renowed Zeppelin captain, as a unity candidate. While he has some nationalistic views, he is also ardently opposed to Nazism.

Barring that, the Center and DStP are planning to run separate candidates in the first round if the SPD runs its own candidate. The Center is considering nominating Konrad Adenauer, mayor of Köln and member of the Prussian state legislature. He calls for an alliance of conservative Christian democrats that encompasses both Catholics and Protestants. The DStP might nominate Otto Gessler, former defense minister, who has crossover appeal to conservatives in the DVP and other parties who dislike the DNVP-NSDAP front.

As for the SPD, we could support a joint Weimar Coalition candidate or run our own. Otto Braun is tired. He does not wish to run, but he is willing to be convinced that he is needed at this moment. His wife is terminally ill, and he does not want more responsibilities. Kurt Schumacher is an ambitious rising star in the party, and would be all too willing to run. He was a hero in the Great War, but his relatively young age might be relevant.

oh I am doing better now, by... actually not doing much at all, avoiding the most openly socialist positions and trying not to displease coalition partners too much while still keeping welfare systems alive. Managed to save some budget for an economic plan and then got this unexpected message:
Screenshot showing the implementation of the job-creation plan. It says "Unemployment is low enough that the plan does not seem to have the intended effect"

to be honest I think some of these people have seen to many DnD memes and forgot they were deliberately exaggerating (me included)
picture of a D20 showing a Natural 1 roll, with the caption "You reach out to push the orc off the bridge, but instead lightly caress his back. He is uncomfortable" and a comment below saying "The orc reflexively goes to crush your larynx (die rolls), but instead intwines his fingers in your hair. You fear that another 1 could mean an awkward letter home in the morning.

Years and several critical failures later, Borgog, Scourge of the Thundercaves, thinks back on how he met his husband Tuergar Trueheart and chuckles. A different time, to be sure. He goes back to weeding their garden."

This is Toloka from the remote village Saavahai on an isolated tropical island that got unexpected visits by black waves from beyond time and space, and while he originally planned to stick to his daily routine of fishing and sleeping, once his grandmother gets injured he resolves to do something
A young man in his 20s with light brown skin, relatively short black hair, wearing a red t-shirt and black shorts. With one eye shut he looks at a sparkling bluish waterdrop-shaped scale the size of his hand he is holding up in the air, with the other hand he is holding a fishing rod.

On his shoulder a red cardinal is sitting.
