Schwab is running ads on the theme "filthy comfortable" . I find the whole concept viscerally disgusting. Being able to live comfortably should be normal or at least a positive aspiration, not disgusting. What's really killing me is that this is normalized enough that it's a selling point.

Reflecting on a childhood trauma and how I didn't even have a concept that there could be support for what I went through. I'm fine and used that trauma to build a better me. Even with how much more acknowledgement of these things we have now, it's still likely someone would not have that concept
