This game looks amazing, I know SNES can technically display more colors and has real transparency and all that but the Genesis does look really good still

Hunting down all the early Sonic games so I'll need to build this monstrosity, it's a struggle finding good deals on some of this Also MAYBE the Power Base Converter for the 8 bit Sonic 1 and 2

I got a Genesis and Sonic 2, but Sonic 1 won’t be coming til Monday, should I just start with Sonic 2?

Star Fox holds up so well. There is maybe one boss (not this one) where you have to fight against the controls a little but for the most part it’s got all the charm I remember I have a lot of admiration for older games where you just pick it up and play, get as far as you can and that’s that

Got true neutral CoC ending in SMTV, also reloaded and did regular neutral But then learned about clear save files with the stars for the endings, and ending demons/miracles/achievements Don’t normally do this completionist stuff but now I’m thinking of doing NG+ to get all endings on one save 🤔

I’m still working on SMTV, I’m at the end of Canon of Creation have a couple quests left trying to get true neutral ending - the lvl 94 and 99 one - have done all others Going to do Canon of Vengeance still but this might really be my favorite game, has challenged some of what I thought about JRPGs

I have a Dreamcast I got randomly, and Genesis has a great reputation ofc But tbh the Sega console that interests me most is the Saturn As a kid I remember playing Nights into Dreams on display models in stores and being awestruck, that memory holds a lot of nostalgia Also the game cases are cool

Explain your username @typeclint.bsky.social I used to be on Twitch and wanted a name with my name in it typeclint since I was into typemoon stuff at the time - Fate, Melty Blood AACC, Tsukihime - didn’t want to be “attached” to that fandom but liked the name typeclint and it’s ambiguous enough

Loaded this up just to test it and played the beginning, god damn the nostalgia had chills the whole time. Started remembering how epic this was at the time it came out. Has me thinking might need to replay sooner than later and maybe reevaluate FF7s place in my top FFs, I usually say 3rd but… damn
