They went so fucking hard with literally every fight scene in this game, actually some of the best animation work they've done in the entire series, I can't help but be hyped even when rewatching the scenes now

Especially the western audience, a lot of people's first game was Cold Steel, like said by Calm, they were the first games localized. I generally say you can start wherever, but should play the sky games before going into the second half of cold steel or horizon

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Dont wanna post spoilers But i love the sky 2 enforcers And their fights in the sky 2 remake are legitimately amazing, my favorite fights in just about the whole series now I love you sky 2...

I always tear up whenever anyone talks about how estelle shines.. it really is her most impactful descriptor.

010

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

She's not even named in her second appearance, more of a cameo really, which is sad! I miss Luci..

God they all look so good..

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

It's definitely different, but really the big difference is going from free movement, to a grid movement, where you can't move and attack at the same time, which takes a bit of getting used to, but I smoothed into it pretty easily at least

110

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

you would expect that but they flow into each other surprisingly well, as someone who played the sky 1 remake then jumped right into sc, all your fundamentals are kinda just still there and it works and you don't even realize it's different after a while

110

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I think the entire cast should be allowed to have their way with joshua.. every position, every kink, all of it, he would be so precious getting destroyed <3

This is me with dataminers in xiv, like do we really need every intricate detail of an update before servers are even live? And then it gets spread like wildfire when i just want to experience it as intended

021

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Honestly, that's the best way tbh. As long as one is having fun, it doesn't really matter what we're enjoying!

Tylk @tylk.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

When i was playing Trails beyond the horizon, and there was a sidequest that was meant to he all about riddles and finding something. And there was just a big ass ! Telling me exactly where it was the whole time. I love modern game design so much sometimes.

thinking about them again they start at bond 5, not optional other people who have barely met before but get bond for mechanical benefit or to make up for low screen time are like bond 1 or 2 they met one time for like 10 minutes and yearned about it for the next 2 games
