Once we hit August without an update, it was clear Kena: Scars of Kosmora was being delayed to 2027. There’s too much from September - December to overshadow it. I’m fine with letting Ember Lab cook longer so Kena can be the best game possible and have its own time to shine.

To be fair, this is a Collector’s Box, NOT a Collector’s Edition of GTA VI. It’s easy to confuse the two, but CB’s don’t usually include the game. This isn’t a new concept and Rockstar isn’t the first company to do this. Not saying the price is justified. Just offering context here.

Good story by Jason here. Like I assumed, money was the key factor behind PlayStation splitting from Kojima/Physint. Exclusivity was a factor I didn’t consider, and it makes me wonder if Physint will be a timed Xbox exclusive. Probably, but I still wonder if it’d ever come to PS6.

The video game industry has always been volatile (I published Press Reset in 2021!) but the skeleton key to understanding the current state of things is this: Big games now cost 10x to make what they did 15 years ago but most do not generate even close to 10x the revenue. Simple as that

Finished watching Solo Leveling today! This is an excellent pure action #anime. The story is cool and Jin-woo is a fairly flat character, but just like with John Wick, that’s not what you’re here for. You’re here for hype moments and aura, and Solo Leveling has both in spades.
