Excited to share that my 3rd PhD paper was recently published in Ecological Informatics! We investigated the use of multi-source remote sensing to constrain model estimates of boreal Gross Primary Productivity, providing insights into complex productivity drivers across boreal land cover types.

Total area of #lidar (ALS) coverage in Canada is 1,768,170 km2, or 19.4% of the total land area. Coverage of forested ecozones is ~27.2%, while coverage of managed forests is ~66.2%. If you're using the `lidR` package and looking to expand your point cloud analysis capabilities, the **lidRmetrics** package might be worth exploring. It offers a variety of additional metrics designed to provide a more detailed characterization of forest structure ptompalski.github.io/lidRmetrics/
