I had someone say on a post about billionaires running #DOGE “they’re billionaires, I’d much rather take financial advice from them than you.” Thing is, they don’t understand that what works for billionaires doesn’t work for them. They are enriching themselves, not us. <sigh>

Friendly reminder: people like to say that the federal government finances its operations with "taxpayer money," but that is factually incorrect. The U.S. government makes the dollars that it spends and then gives banks and others permission to make the rest. findingmoneyfilm.com
