Our cat, Oreo, who let us serve her for 20+ years, passed in the night. She came to us at 12 weeks and for the next 20 years rose and fell in the ranks of the various cats that shared our home. Sometimes she was the boss, sometimes... not. 1/2

Bag 25 complete. And the rigging went smoothly! Amaze amaze amaze!

The twin stacks, with crowns of thorns have been installed and the rigging has been rigged!

The rigging runs from the deck, up to the stack, back to the deck, runs to the mast at the other end of the deck where it goes up to the mast, back to the deck, crosses a short distance, runs back up to the mast... You get the idea.

Bag 25. I'm going to hate this step. String for rigging. I hate working with string.

A lot of black for building the stacks. Plus, gray string for the rigging. I hate this step already.

Masts for rigging have been added and the crew quarters have been enclosed, with doors in place. I question the design choice of a window in the bathroom door that looks directly in on the toilet!

A tan deck is beginning to take shape. It is white at the perimeter and there is a block if black bricks to the back. In the center, but closer to the stern, two rooms are laid out. A wheelhouse and Captain's quarters?

The upper deck cabin is now in place. The dining area has fancy sconces and there are smaller lights on the outside to light the upper deck walkway.

In the corridor to the bandstand area are a menu, a poster for the band and a landscape painting.

Bag 20 complete. And I had the orientation incorrect in my head. The door leads to the lower deck, not the bandstand area.

Tables and chairs have been added to the upper deck and a set of stairs to the top deck are beginning to take shape.
The chairs use a cam piece as a fancy back and the tables are square, but use a clever inverted plate to allow panel pieces to create the drape of a tablecloth.

The upper cabin comes together. The deck has a pattern of red, tan and dark brown. There is a door that will lead into the bandstand and it is bracketed by screened windows.

The bandstand area is now complete and added to the aft of the ship above the engine room. I hope that floor is insulated or people may not be able to hear the music!

The nameplate is centered between 3 windows on each side of the boat and 3 windows are behind the stage and look out on the sternwheel.

A rectangular area, with darker tan walls, a band stand area. It contains an upright bass, a drum kit, a microphone on a stand, and a saxophone. Two tables are also in this area, one with a decanter and champagne glass and the other with a dark green bottle and a mug.

The stern SNOT bricks are now covered in a mixed pattern of tan, gray and white plates.

The top of the walls for the galley area are now covered in plates. Thus will allow upper levels to be easily removed to view the interiors.
