Scrawl Saturday: What's crazy about this one is that it's been up on that wall here in Providence for like 6 months and no one in that shady chop shop feels like they should cover it up. Tis the season? Maybe they're waiting for Nov 1 to turn it xmas themed.

31 days of spooky thangs! If a witch is classic halloween, then a wizard should also be. This is my Anthony Bourdain / Wizard painting and also, really liked the new movie Tony! It's good and I spotted the best dive in P-town (Old Colonial) in there. Let's cast some magic this month!

Moment of Zen: Watch these horses take a bath down in Barbados and chill out for a sec

It's October, B! What would you do if these two driving crooners pulled up? Two Thangs: Freddy Krueger / Jesse Pinkman. 31 Days of Spooky Thangs!

What I'm Listening to: Well, it's Providence's own Star Wars sludge-metal band Sliimo who just dropped this killer record on us. A little more High on Fire than Eye Hate God this time but still just in the pocket of good riffage. Jaba would be proud, fuck the empire.

31 days of spooky thangs! This one pairs VERY nicely with the Elderly / Hellraiser, it's Evil Dead 2 / Babies. Like, why didn't they do a muppet babbies style show about Ash? Would watch. This painting actually got signed by Brisco County Jr. himself too, he drew the stink lines.

The booth is humming and the needles are buzzing! Drop by Bizaare Bazaar tattoo con this weekend in Marietta OH.

This was the very first horror movie painting I made as Two Thangs. It was Hellraiser / Elderly. So an octogenarian Pinhead eating a toast dinner. Cause that's all you're allowed to eat when you're old. I was 36 when I made this and now that I'm 47, it rings even more true. 31 days of spooky thangs!

We're here in Marietta Ohio for Bizaare Bazaar tattoo convention! This is going to be a great weekend so swing through Fri/sat/sun for Delvis, Clownvis, rock n roll, tattoos, art, pin ups, car show and party vibes.

Throwback: I was looking for old paintings that would be a bit spooky and I think this one panel of a tryptic I did back in college qualifies.

Welcome to spooky season! get weird, be creepy, do a little dance, it's October and it's time to drink cider and go to haunted houses. Here's Beetlejuice / Buffalo Bill to welcome you into the season. 31 Days of Spooky Thangs has started!

Dropped by my alma mater on the way out to Ohio to see an old friend and partake in my favorite diner breakfast. Kutztown: same as it ever was.

Did anyone go to Ohana music festival? Did anyone see my Iggy Pop / Godzilla painting there? Colors really pop so I'm hoping at least a few people got to see it in person.

Do you all realize that we're one day away from spooky season? Like, it starts tomorrow? Anyways, to get you in the mood for 31 days of spooky thangs, here's where a bunch of people learned about goths. It's the Breakfast Club / Tears for Fears. Song by Glose in one of my favorite covers ever.

Back in pandemic, Brandi and I recreated a bunch of my paintings in real life using on hand household objects. Who would be in if I ran a contest this winter?

When I left Seattle, paintings went all over the place. One of my favorites was this Red Tie / Flag painting that was delivered by bus across town by Matt Brown to its new owner (his Mom Janet Brown). Best advertising campaign ever.

Whatever your feelings on Taylor Swift, I had a blast reimagining the dreamy cover of her Lover album with a loving little pit bull. They're big ol' cuddlers, those pups.

Deep cuts are kind of my thing. Here's one from the eighties and one from the nineties: It's RAD the BMX movie you grew up on and Fear of a Black Hat, the mockumentary you also probably grew up on. GUARANTEE no one else has a NWH painting out there. *take 2! I messed that first post up*

From that same party, here's Matt & Matt with Matt! Matt here picked up the Matt Pike / Pin Up Model painting at my going away party when I left Seattle. High on Fire is heading to providence and I'm excited to see Matt Pike tear up a stage again.

The best pic I ever received after I sold a painting was this late-night pic Jackie Kingsbury texted me after she bought the Pussy Riot / Black Velvet painting.

The Wall Street Journal did a nice little write up on the final Camp John Waters. I feel lucky to have been able to attend and be a small part of it for a few years. What really made it special was that JW was a guiding star for a lot of wonderful weirdos that really made the camp what it was.

Here's some details from the Iggy Pop / Godzilla painting. I picked a very specific city (and one of my favorite cities!) to get destroyed by these ancient primal monsters. Also realized that joumana probably styled herself after Iggy.

Regional food: the Shuco! It's Guatemalan street food that is taking over providence. Lots of Shuco pride in the restaurants that serve them. I know the Galley and Patriarca have great ones. Chopped up hot dog, fresh avocado, ketchup, mustard, cabbage. hot dog but cheesesteak sized to make you happy

This next painting is a cartoon but it's specifically an Adult Swim cartoon! None more adult swim than Tim & Eric / Convertibles. Where's my chippy?

Moment of Zen: Victoria Falls edition. What is it about the sound of water that can make you chill out for a second. Even a shit ton of water.

Scrawl Saturday: A reminder in case you're looking at this pretty gross celling. I mean, how did that pee drop even get up there?

000

Two Thangs: pop art supreme @twothangs.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I really love these wall Mosaics I was making for a little bit. When you have a body of work as big as mine, it's fun to create something that is micro and macro. There's one in my studio that I need to rework if I can get a second.

000

Two Thangs: pop art supreme @twothangs.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Some more cartoons coming your way! This was Transformers and Blacksmithing. The thing I love about a cartoon order is the freedom to really play with color. This one was all about warmth with just little flourishes of blue to balance it.

What I'm Listening To: This new Protomartyr drops today and (as of posting this) I haven't listened to it, I have extremely high hopes! I really dig this band a lot.

Throwback: I can continue with a little bit of my old life drawing. This was a fun one when I was really getting into the expressiveness of charcoal.

The next new painting I'll have coming up is cartoon based so I'm going to throw a few of my favorite cartoon paintings your way. This was Eeyore and the This is Fine Dog (by KC Green)

When I first got to camp John waters, it was overwhelming but the first person to come up to me and make me feel welcome was Kay. I would bet I'm not the only one too. I very much remember it and I'm glad her beautiful note won her the Serial Mom / Mommie Dearest painting. It has a great home.

Every @mister.wonderful.band physical release is a little art project. This record was a valentine to get you in the mood to listen to this song about the Lord of the Rings Ext Editions. I love them and we only have two left. We play tonight at Getties! Early show will have you home by bed time.

Here you can check out the details in the Serial Mom / Mommie Dearest painting. This one was clean as hell. I really focused on keeping it perfect and simple which is harder to do than you think. Happy with the results!

NEW PAINTING DAY! God, I had some fun making this Iggy Pop / Godzilla painting and if you are heading to Ohana music festival this weekend in CA, you can see it in person! There's a pop up gallery called The Cove and it should be hanging in there all weekend. Thanks to @aldersmithgallery for that!

Marietta Ohio! The weekend AFTER this one, aka 10/2-10/4, I'm going to be visiting you for the first time. It is going to be a rager of a tattoo convention with @bizarrebazaartattoo. I'll be hanging out with delvis, watching clownvis and maybe we'll all get CJW tattoos. Who knows? I'm excited.

It's funny to me how you can now legit be old school Seattle just because you remember the Viaduct. This is my Seattle Viaduct / Godzilla painting that was made before it came down and thanks to the WONDERFUL Vanishing Seattle, this was projected onto the structure before it got ripped down

I've got a new painting coming at you next week and I'm going to drop some clues on what's coming up. COMPLETELY UNRELATED, here's this Godzilla Bigfoot painting from 2019! Been a while since I touched a kaiju.

What I'm Listening To: I have been slamming this new Denzel Curry album on repeat this month. It's like grimy old hip hop with weird and fun 70s influenced samples. Picked it up on bandcamp Friday and it's a true blue jam. Really fun production for a great MC.

We are getting close to PATREON SKETCHATHON 2026 (these are old ones)! Every year I offer all of my Patreons of any level ONE free ink sketch of whatever two ideas they can come up with. We have a tournament and whichever sketch gets the most likes / comments / shares gets turned into a painting.

000

Two Thangs: pop art supreme @twothangs.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Throwback: I really miss life drawing. I haven't really done it much since college and yes, I paint bodies every day BUT there's something about working on a drawing for a few hours with the model right there. This was one I did.

010

Two Thangs: pop art supreme @twothangs.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

This beaut was SOLD at my art show and it found the perfect home. It's the Rolling Stones / B-holes and it was based on Steve Albinis final tweet. Such a pretty painting of a dark place.

I haven't been vending that much this year, but I just got my temp license to vend in Ohio for the first time at @bizarrebazaartattoo convention the first weekend in October! Here I am with the one and only Delvis who is an organizer for the event and just all-around awesome person.
