There is a lot of sinophobia in this part of the world for sure and demonising of Chinese culture and policy but the weird overcorrection to romanticising Maoism and the Chinese Government is also weird and bad. Like you can criticise problems and also not be xenophobic and racist

There’s discourse on tiktok about straight women not dating bi men because they are bi and I think what people are realising is that straight women are just as deeply, deeply homophobic as straight men and just refuse to acknowledge it
